Surface Mount

Surface Mount Technology is capable of placing a large quantity of components at a higher rate and with more precision. SMT also allows more connections per component and offers superior mechanical performance under vibration conditions. Boards are placed in a automated screen printer where soldier paste is applied, then loaded into one of our high speed 'Pick-and-Place' machines where components are placed. Once the machine has ensure the parts are placed perfectly the boards are ran through a high-temp reflow over to cure.

Aerospace 

Vast Circuits is certified in IPC J-STD-001F Space Addendum and offers FOD Free Cleanroom Services for specialized Aerospace Technologies. Our skilled technicians are required to work in proper lab apparel under one of our updraft hoods to ensure no particles come in contact with the boards. Vast Circuits ensures our technicians are outfitted with professional, calibrated tools to ensure quality and repeatability throughout the process.

Conformal coating

Certified at NASA-STD-8739.1.2.3, Vast Circuits offers Polymeric Applications for Electronic Assemblies. Our technicians perform the Conformal Coating process in house in one of our ventilated bays. Each chemical application is carefully mixed, applied and witnessed in our Foreign Object Debris free space, then cured in a vacuum purge oven to ensure proper adherence.

Thru-Hole

Through-hole Mounting provides extremely strong mechanical bonds which is perfect for bulkier components such as electrolytic capacitors or semiconductors. Although this method doesn't allow for smaller engineering such as SMT, it still has its ideal applications.
